File folder from old book cover

A few years ago I made a vintage notebook for my friend, he liked it so much that when all the pages were used he kind a got dissapointed. That's how I came up with the idea to make this file folder, it holds extra pages for the notebook and also any important page from the notebook can be stored there ^.^

P.S.  thank you for stopping by, wish you crafty inspiration
P.S.II ^.^  I'm sharing this file folder at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge :The one with lots of rules ^.^, wish me luck

Artist on the Block design team!!!!!!

 Hello everyone !
Today I have some pretty exciting news. I'm one of the lucky designers who was invited to join Artist Trading Block design team!
Don't know what the Artist Trading Block is? It is totally fresh, new trend in the fields of scrapbooking from amazing Sizzix designer Eileen Hull with the help and inspiration from super talented designer Amy Bowerman, a stylish new twist on the Artist Trading Cards :D You should definitely visit The Artists On The Block site for tons of inspiration and lots of ideas ^.^  As for me, in the next few months I will share with you how many amazing projects you can create with Artist Trading Blocks ^.^

In order to introduce ourselves as ATB Inspiration Team members we were asked to share a few of our favorite projects. Here are my picks :

ATC storage box (ATB inspired ;))

when I started creating this box I had just a vague idea of what it is going to be like, but then my imagination took me to the places I've never been before :D and I still can't believe how amazing this box turned out!
                                      Tea time ^.^

this Pocket watch Sizzix die is probably one of my all-time favorites ^.^ As soon as I got my hands on it I knew what I wanted to create with it...something shabby and magical. Now I'm thinking to add a real clock mechanism to it, wouldn't it be wonderful to hear this clock tick tock ? ^.^

                                    vintagy balsa tag

this project is in my favorites because I love to work with all kind of different materials (not only paper and card stock). Balsa is amazingly lightweight wood that can be easily cut (especially with Sizzix dies!) You should definitely try it if you like to experiment. You can paint it, ink it, stamp on it or use it with your dies to create amazing wooden embellishments.

As you can see, I love everything shabby, vintage and distressed ^.^ However my goal is to mix it all together and discover new creative styles and ways to express yourself .

Wow that's been already a long post, but bear with me a little bit longer. There's still one more thing I have to share with you ^.^
Did you know that amazing Eileen Hull just launched the Art with Heart monthly challenge? It is like a monthly celebration of creativity! Each month the Inspiration Team (all our favorite and so talented designers!) will be showcasing their Art with Heart created with Eileen Hull’s innovative Sizzix dies.
This is definitely a place for everyone to create, inspire and share.Everyone would love to see what you can do with Eileen Hull’s fabulous products, but this is not even a requirement, you are free to use what ever products your artful “heart” desires! Can it get better than this? Oh yes, it can! ^.^ Check this guidelines:

  • Create a new project following the Art with Heart Challenge Theme (however you interpret the theme) OR if you have created something that fits the theme previously create a new post with a photo and link to the original post ( a great way to expose older projects to fresh eyes!).
  • Include a link to the current Art with Heart Challenge in your post so others can play along too!
  • When linking up your project please include a direct link to your post.
  • You are not required to use Eileen Hull Products in your projects.  However, those who do use Eileen Hull products will be given two entries into the prize draw.
No rules guys, you get to create whatever you want and however you want it! So get going, get creative and share your Art with Heart!

P.S. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you didn't get tired (it was quite a long post) ^.^ See you soon.

clean and simple ^.^

Do you know what is my favorite crafting material? ^.^ Craft envelopes!!!!! Using them for me is the easiest way to make a quick and simple photo album, any kind of  scrapbook and what not! Here I made a pregnancy journal using just some plain ivory paper, craft envelopes, inks of course (distress always and forever ^.^)  and few embellishments. I must admit it was the quickest album I ever made, less than 8 hours ^.^, that's a record for my standards !!!

I left the front page empty on purpose, so the future mommy could add a name of a baby there herself or any kind of a title that she would like

the page on the left has a pocket for extra tag and any kind of memorabilia and the empty white space that can be used for journaling ^.^
each page corresponds to a month of pregnancy
and the last one is of course for a baby photograph^.^

Thank you for stopping by ^.^ wish you crafty inspiration

The rest is history and my new creation. Get ready for a looot of photos but hope you like it ^.^
