"You and Me" Artist Trading Block charm

Moving on with my adventure in the mixed media world this month I have a special Artist Trading Block project for you.  It is a charm I made to celebrate the 5 year relationship with my sweetheart ^.^

how about we start with a small how-to ^.^
after cutting a piece of mat board with Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Blocks/Cubes, 3-D die I added small holes for the chain and other embellishments

then I started adding more layers using some stencils with a texture paste, colors, fabrics etc.

after a few more layers of color, embellishments and rub ons I got myself what I wanted ^.^

Hello everyone!

I have some very exciting news to share with you today. Eileen Hull  has designed a new Sizzix collection Vintage Kitchen.  As a member of the ArtistTradingBlock design team I have been given an amazing opportunity to be one of the first to be able to play and create with these gorgeous dies. So how about a few sneak peeks?...

the Oven die is already one of my favorites 

and here is a brief how-to: 

  for the finishing touch I covered all the piece with Ranger glossy accents ^.^ (so the oven is all glossy and shiny but unfortunately it doesn't show in the pictures)

My next sneak peek is the Cookie Box (I made it a double one ^.^)
